Spring is in the air in Phoenix. The city enjoys blooming cactus and “cooler” temperatures. Last evening Phoenix Fashion Week brought together the city’s best stylist for a runway competition. Each stylist had a category for styling. Each style provided a great concept and idea for the upcoming season’s trends.
As the day turn into night Phoenix fashionistas gathered for red carpet, conversations, and styling concepts. The AZ Center where palm trees canopied the event, proving a great ambience for the stylist runway.
The styling teams were:
- Team Green
- Team White Shirt
- Team Metallic
- Team Lingerie
- Team Plaid
- Team Sporty Chic
The stylist provided a great insight at the press conference to each style and location to purchase each item. The stylist remained local with each of their looks. Our own company was asked to gain further insight from the stylist. The question we asked was, “What is your backstory to becoming a stylist?” Thank You Gabriel Styles U for the question suggestion. Each stylist provided insight from working in business, pre-medical students, and working in the fashion and beauty industry.
The red carpet was filled with great styling from attendees, local celebrities, and young girls. Each hoping for a great evening of styling. This unique runway approach brought many from around the valley looking for the best fashion tips in Phoenix’s hot climate.
The runway was full of great styling for each area. There was some exceptional pieces that provided a new way to style the old classics and new concepts for something a little different. The one piece many stylist stated was a must have in our closet is leather jacket.
The audience was able to text their vote for the best style runway. It was close voting for Team White Shirt and Team Lingerie. Team Lingerie was the final winner. Thank you to our Periscope viewers this was their favorite as well. Team Lingerie will be styling for the new Moxy Hotel grand opening in Tempe AZ.
